Pay Per Click (PPC)

Pay per click (PPC) is an advertising internet model used on websites, where advertisers pay their host only when visitors click their Ads. advertisers use keyword that is relevant to their market target. Site Contents commonly charge a fixed per click price instead of using a bidding system.

Pay-per-click (PPC) is a unique advertising model to the internet.
pay-per-click (PPC) Ad is a small, four line Ad consisting of a headline, two short lines of text and a Uniform Resource Locator (URL). It doesn't contain graphics, colours variations, music, or videos and it is not possible for you to pay extra to get more space. Pay-Per-Click Ads the most powerful methods of advertising online today because they are so targeted due to high traffic.
Pay-Per-Click Ads only display to people who have shown an active interest in the topic by either searching for information through the internet or visiting a website. The conversion rate of Pay-Per-Click Ads is much higher than other advertising models.
Another great benefit is that you only pay for the times when visitors click your Ads. And while that doesn't necessarily mean that you will get a sale, it's a lot better than paying merely for the privilege of having your Ads on other Advertising models, as it was done before the introduction of Pay-Per-Click.
Basically, there are two different types of pay-per-click Ads.
The Ads that appear beside the organic search results in Yahoo, Google and MSN search engines are called 'search' Ads because they are triggered by the keywords people search for. For example, someone search for fresh Graduate jobs in Nigeria will display pay-per-click Ads targeting related to the keywords or phrases.
The second type of Pay-Per-Click Ads are 'content' Ads. These Ads will appear within a blog or website. As in case of search Ads, content Pay-Per-Click Ads are based on the keywords or phrases within the website itself, The secret with content Ads is that you must make sure that your blog or website is highly optimized for your topic, so that the most relevant Ads to your content are displayed. If you have a website about jobs and careers for example and your site is not properly optimized, then you could get irrelevant Ads displayed which have very little significance for your market target.

Types of Content Ads

Content Ads can be in two formats: text which is the traditional type of Google Ad most people will automatically think of and image Ads. Image Ads are animated banners. They can be used for placing targeted and keyword targeted campaigns.
My experiments have led me to conclude that image content Ads are consistently more profitable than text content Ads.

The Cost of Pay-Per-Click Advertising

Pay-Per-Click Ads are rewarded for high quality and penalized for inferior quality. Simply because the whole system would fall apart if visitors started to see Pay-Per-Click as bad value; but if Ads are of high quality, then everyone will benefit from it.
On that basics, i want to emphasize that the better your Ad, then the less you have to Pay Per Click, the more exposure you get, the more money you make.

Keywords

Keywords are a huge part of pay-per-click success as they determine how targeted your audience is, which in turn, determines your conversion rate.
When you set up your Ads, you will be able to bid on the keywords and keyword phrases that you think your targeted market is most likely to visit.
